Completed in 2020 this rental cabin is available through Hawks Rest Cabins. Craigh na Dun, a 2 bedroom Timber Frame European styled cabin in Leatherwood Mountains; close by the fictional Fraser’s Ridge location in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Craigh na Dun was named for the fictional stone circle said to be near Inverness, Scotland featured in Outlander written by Diana Gabaldon. Craigh na Dun cabin has a standing stone circle, elements of European timber framing, European décor, and a view of the highland Blue Ridge Mountains as the backdrop.

Craigh na Dun has long range mountain views from every direction. Grandfather Mountain, location of the famous annual July Grandfather Mountain Highland Games www.gmhg.org , is seen every day as the sun sets on the horizon.
